This morning I awoke hearing the voice of God speak to me concerning our spiritual eyesight. He said very plainly that we cannot see properly in this season unless we allow Him to empower us with His eyesight. Actually, the Lord spoke to me concerning the eyesight of Holy Spirit and how we are to properly position ourselves to spend time with Him each day to strengthen our sight. I was reminded of the Word of the Lord I received for the Body of Christ in December 2005 that would span unto the year 2010. From 2006 until 2010, God is desiring that we “see” as He Himself sees our future.

God is back from the future! He has already seen your destiny and His Spirit desires to empower us to see ourselves fulfilling divine destiny. We must remain stable and determined to not be double-minded in this season. I’m sure you are like me, wondering how to develop supernatural eyesight. I have pressed and sought some revelation concerning this.

Spending time each day with Holy Spirit is similar to taking Vitamin A for the natural eyesight. According to the many health professionals, Vitamin A is needed for several metabolic functions, especially for vision. Interestingly, Vitamin A is very effective for “night blindness.” So, when we are facing spiritual seasons of great darkness and it is difficult to “see,” we need our daily recommended dose of Holy Spirit, right?

Believers, I realize I am being a bit humorous, but I need to make a point. We are living in critical times and we need to see in the spirit in order to make needed shifts that affect our destiny. Consider this example from one of God’s creations—the gazelle. You need to understand that God gave the gazelle a tremendous advantage over its predators. A gazelle is quick to move and dart away from any danger. In other words, it is hard to catch! Yet, even more amazing is its eyesight. The gazelle has one eye on each side of its head and can see nearly 360 degrees at once! This means that it is virtually impossible for a predator to sneak up to devour it.

The Devourer

We are at war with the devourer and the Lord does not desire that this predator sneak up on us and steal our future. We are also at the threshing floor, when God separates but also desires to bless us. We must be on guard not to hold back in our giving at this time as it will affect reaping in our next season. Though when I first began to write this article I had no intent on discussing giving, it actually cannot be separated from the devourer who steals if we do not trust God with our finances and the giving of what He is requiring.

Scripture reveals the devourer in Malachi 3:10-11 (AMP):

“Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open the windows of Heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer (insects and plagues) for your sakes and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground, neither shall your vine drop its fruit before the time in the field,” says the Lord of hosts.

Most of us are cognizant of the scriptural basis for tithing and sowing offerings to God. Without desiring to become legalistic, I believe we must give attention to the need to “not forget” God and His house during such despairing economic times. Mammon and the Antichrist spirit are rising up during this season and attempt to cause us to doubt God’s ability to supernaturally move mountains for us. (I have just written an entire book on the Antichrist Spirit called Conquering the Antichrist Spirit, which you can order on the ElijahList. I encourage you to read it so that you can develop supernatural eyesight for victory in this season.)

We are warring against mountains of doubt and unbelief concerning the economy, provision and God’s ability to cycle us out of the wilderness. Our only hope for the future is to fully trust God. Though we may not be able to “see” where the Lord may be leading, we must know in our hearts that He is able to make a way where there seems to be no way. We must remember the One who created the universe is the One who is really in control. God will always honor our seasons of sowing into His purposes. However, the enemy twists truth and speaks lies concerning our provision—especially in such uncertain times.

The devourer is connected to the words “locusts” and “caterpillar” which are the two most devastating threats to a harvest. Yet, God says in Joel 2:21-26 (AMP) that we are not to fear because He will restore what the devourer has destroyed!

Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things! Be not afraid, you wild beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness have sprung up and are green; the tree bears its fruit, and the fig tree and the vine yield their (full) strength. Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord, your God; for He gives you the former or early rain in just measure and in righteousness, and He causes to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, as before.

And the (threshing) floors shall be full of grain and the vats shall overflow with juice (of the grape) and oil. And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten—the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you. And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord, your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be put to shame.

Dear ones, when you sow seed into God’s purposes, you need supernatural eyesight to see God plans to provide for us—even in difficult seasons. We are instructed to not allow fear to control our obedience to God. Fear links us to our past and blocks our future. The Lord has plans to multiply our harvest—even though we can’t “see” it in the natural! This is why we must see with the eyesight of Holy Spirit.

Again, I do not desire to focus solely on sowing and reaping with this article. I simply desire that you develop supernatural eyesight so that you can be blessed in your future. Letting go now releases what God desires for the future. And we cannot ignore the fact that the devourer is linked to tithing and giving to God all which belongs to Him. In fact, we ourselves belong to God and we have been set apart unto Him. Therefore, in a way, we sow ourselves into God’s Kingdom purposes. All of us experience dark seasons whenever we do not understand the plans and purposes of God. However, since the Lord does not desire that we be caught off guard by any plan of satan, we need the eyes of Holy Spirit.

How to Develop Spiritual Eyesight

Okay, now, here is another “key”—we need the Key of David. We’ve heard a lot of teachings on David’s keys and I am not negating what has been previously taught. I am a prophet and simply want to convey what I am hearing. What I heard the Lord say was that David had the ability to see on the other side of closed doors. In other words, his prophetic gifting and insight empowered him to see the future even though doors were closed before him. Therefore, his ability to see supernaturally was his key to unlock closed doors!

On the other hand, we need our discernment sharpened so that we can properly discern which doors need to be opened. We can speak to mountains until the cows come home (I live on a ranch and believe me it takes them a while…they’re slow!), but if God isn’t ready to move that mountain, it won’t move. We must understand our times and seasons. Some of us are waiting on God for the go-ahead to pray certain directives. To wait means to wait with great faith and expectation. If you have seen your victory and it is not time, trust God and wait in peace while expecting the breakthrough. Look at what Scripture says about the Key of David in the two references of Revelation 3:7 and Isaiah 22:22.

And to the angel (messenger) of the assembly (Church) in Philadelphia write: These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, He Who has the key of David, Who opens and no one shall shut, Who shuts and no one shall open…—Revelation 3:7 (AMP)

Notice that Christ is the One addressing the Church in Philadelphia and He is the One who has the Key of David. The Key which Christ holds is a key that opens and no one can shut and also shuts a door and uses the key to lock it so no one can open. The Lord desires to give us the same key which David had. The Lord desires us to see with supernatural insight what is promised beyond a door that appears shut. Using our key of faith and supernatural ability to see with the eyesight of Holy Spirit, we can open closed doors to our future and then, with faith, lock the door shut to lock out the devourer. We must rise up in faith and declare that the devourer cannot enter into our future!

The key is a representation of a key given to one who occupies a royal palace and can admit or exclude anyone from entrance. I believe God is opening the Heavens to us as a royal priesthood and is releasing keys of entrance into areas concerning the supernatural. Use your key of faith to unlock the heavenlies and begin to see with the eyesight of Holy Spirit!

Isaiah 22:22 refers to the “key of the house of David” which is laid upon the shoulder of Christ. (”Shoulder” in this passage represents divine government and authority.) Christ is represented as not only the One possessing the royal house, but also the one who watches over the entrance of others. The key of David’s house is symbolic of the key which Christ has. David had his own palace as well as a fortress in Zion. Why did Christ give David a key with so much power? Because David was a man after God’s heart! Because David’s passion was bent on worshiping the Lord, He was given grace, favor and supernatural insight.

When David saw Goliath, he saw victory and not defeat. How could he do this when others remained fearful? It is because David saw beyond a closed door. He had spent hours alone with sheep and chose his time with his harp to worship and praise God. David knew God and therefore could see God. Spending time with God will empower you with supernatural eyesight!

Noah was one who walked with God (Genesis 6:9). To walk with God does not mean spending countless hours in prayer attempting to look religious and be legalistic. No! To walk with God means that we include Him in our lives and decisions on a daily basis. Spending time with God means that He is always in our thoughts and we have completely surrendered our lives to Him. When we walk with Him our supernatural eyesight is sharpened and we are empowered to see with eyes of His Spirit, and therefore are not afraid of our natural circumstances.

Moving Past Legalism and Religious Mindsets

In order to fully see with supernatural vision, we must move beyond our religious mindsets which link us to the past. Legalism will always attempt to have a seated position in our lives whenever we are afraid of our future. We are easily tempted to go back to a formula or an old pattern when we are faced with challenges.

There is a Gideon’s army arising, and therefore there is a testing at the waters. I’m sure that you remember the story, but let’s take a quick look at the method of testing:

…And the LORD said to Gideon, “Everyone who laps from the water with his tongue, as a dog laps, you shall set apart by himself; likewise everyone who gets down on his knees to drink.” And the number of those who lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, was three hundred men; but all the rest of the people got down on their knees to drink water. Then the LORD said to Gideon, “By the three hundred men who lapped I will save you, and deliver the Midianites into your hand…”—Judges 7:5-7

I have always wondered about God’s methods as He weeded Gideon’s army. After much study and asking God concerning this, I have realized that the men who did not pass the testing at the waters knelt down, and also looked down at the waters. They were concerned as to what was immediately before their eyes and were somewhat self-centered and self-absorbed. Remaining concerned with our immediate and present situations with no concern for the future will link us to our past. We have to remain positioned properly and develop supernatural vision which is linked to a hope for our future.

Those who cupped their hands and lapped the water were able to see the enemy from afar. The cupping of hands is symbolic of being able to hold onto the Word of God which is the Living Water. There needs to be a daily washing of His Word in order to fully see in this season. Gideon’s chosen army was not concerned with just their personal provision, but they were also alert and on guard, watching out for the others. Their vision was larger; they saw into possibilities concerning their future. This is a perfect example of being empowered with a new level of supernatural vision and always being positioned to give assistance to others when needed.

I am also reminded of David who used His keys to unlock a particular door. The door he opened was a door which blocked intimacy with God because of legalism. Do you remember the story of when David forbade the law concerning eating the showbread? Well, the law stated that only the priests could partake of the “holy bread.” Yet David knew through his intimacy with God that he was sanctified and could partake of it. David understood that the law was made for man; man was not made for the law! This is another use of the key. We are not to be bound up with an old legalistic system.

When Jesus was addressing the spirit of legalism, He commended David for his actions (see Matthew 12:3-5). Jesus is commending those of us who know who we are in God and are not afraid of seeing through seemingly closed doors and using our keys of faith to go through the narrow places which are attempting to block our future!

The Woman With the Issue of Blood

Let me remind you again that I am attempting to guide you into developing supernatural vision. Remember the woman with the issue of blood? The reason she pressed to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment was out of her desperation for healing and knowing that God would heal her; thus, she was able to supernaturally see her victory. Sometimes God will allow desperation to empower us to press further than ever before. If you are in a desperate situation, it is a perfect opportunity to develop supernatural vision.

I believe that our greatest victories lie ahead of us. It is a season when we can press into God on a daily basis, hear His voice, and see with the eyes of Holy Spirit. Every day deserves a fresh start with the Lord. Don’t you agree? Be encouraged. God is always faithful—no matter what it looks like in the natural.

My prayer for you: Father, I pray that Your children begin to develop supernatural eyesight that comes from walking daily with You. I pray that Holy Spirit manifests in a tangible way to each person and that He guides Your precious ones into all truth. Father, just as Saul had the scales of his eyes removed so that he could see, I pray that the scales of our eyes are also removed. As Elisha prayed for his servant to see that there were more that were for them than were against them, I pray for each person to see with that same supernatural vision. I ask that You empower us for our future and great victory. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

This is the time, more than ever, for the saints of God to get free of hindrances, bad habits and limitations that keep us from our destiny. Knowing Christ Jesus only as Savior, Healer, Baptizer, Provider, etc. is no longer sufficient! We must now know Him also as King of kings, Lord of our lives and the Commander of the Lord’s army.

We get healed, matured, set free and equipped so that we can take the gospel of the Kingdom to a world that needs a demonstration of the lordship of Christ. The gifts of the Spirit are not toys for the saints to play with in church. They are mighty weapons of war! God has provided them so we can take territories and nations and disciple people into a full knowledge of Jesus Christ. Church, we’ve got to quit playing around and get serious! Let’s not bury our talent in the ground out of fear. Jesus commands us to occupy until He comes!

According to missions experts nearly 40% of the world’s population has never heard the gospel of salvation that Jesus Christ died for their sins and was resurrected that all who believe on Him may have eternal life. A much greater number has not seen a demonstration of the gospel of the Kingdom, that Christ paid the price for our physical and emotional healing, deliverance from every evil power and bondage, and everything we need for life and godliness, on earth today (Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24).

God wants to demonstrate, now, through His Church, that Christ Jesus has spoiled the principalities and powers, making a mockery of them, and that He is the rightful King of kings and Lord of lords (Colossians 2:15; 1Timothy 6:15; Revelation 19:15-16). He is assuring this generation of the Church that we can drive out and subdue all the “isms” of this world as we co-labor with Christ in making the kingdoms of this world to become the Kingdom of our Lord and His Christ.

Saints of God, pull out the full armor of God from its hiding place in the back of your closets, put it on, and join His mighty Army! Get the “Chicken Little” fear out of your heart – you’re an eagle, not a chicken! Spread your wings and soar into heavenly realms you have never known before. Heaven is watching and waiting for the generation that will fulfill God’s command to demonstrate the gospel of the Kingdom. Let’s be the ones!

2009 is a year of the Hebrew word EMET (emes) meaning TRUTH. For Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth and the life.” His truth will cut like a razor as it lays the nations bare.

Israel will be in a state of flux (constant or frequent change) this year and will become more assertive as it defends against aggression. This small nation will continue to be scrutinized by the world and many who were once friends will no longer support her. Iran and Syria will step up their rhetoric and intimidation leading to a serious confrontation that will only be defused through negotiation. Our current administration has encouraged the Israelis to give up their land, and we as a nation are being judged for this action. As a country, we cannot forsake Israel. It is in our best interest to acknowledge her right to exist and to stand alongside her as a faithful ally. If we will continue to uphold Israel our economy will swiftly change and the favor of the Lord will once again be released to us. It has yet to be determined to what extent our new president and his administration will become advocates for Israel. This is the time to pray for our government to do the right thing and to declare that the attitude of the nations, who desire to deny Israel its God given rights, be changed. One of our assignments this year will be to pray daily for the peace of Jerusalem!

The citizens of Spain will be shocked and disillusioned when an internal government issue is exposed and corruption is made public. God is dealing with depravity in government throughout the nations of the world. The Lord says, “Consecrate and purify yourselves all you people, rulers and authorities alike, for the King of Glory is coming among you to shake and then shatter what man has set in order.”

There is an unholy alliance forged between North Korea, Venezuela, Russia and Iran that is evil and has malicious intent. For wicked, power hungry, greedy, cunning men have devised a plot that will be implemented over the coming months. Whether their goal is to further communism or radical Islam, these individuals are bound together by their shared hatred of the United States and their desire to see it broken and led into captivity. This conspiracy will supplant America’s role in the world as a superpower and humiliate our great country and its people. We must pray that this scheme is brought to light and those who are involved are made known and brought to justice.

God will address unrighteous authority that has bound His people in the continent of Africa. For these nations have been ruled by vile dictators who have inflicted death, fear, hunger and poverty. Those in government have robbed the people of their freedom and any hope of a future. God says, “There is a righteous remnant that cries continually with a loud voice on behalf of the African people and I, the Lord, will intervene for their sake. In the coming days, I will cause those who control for selfish gain to be replaced with those who know Me and follow My ways. For I am releasing My heart and love for the people, and I will drive out those who have made a mockery of governmental power.”

England will continue to be impacted by grim financial troubles and the Queen’s dire predictions will be fulfilled. There is increasing unrest and dissatisfaction occurring in the country. The prime minister is distrusted and his leadership will continue to be tested over the next year as one crisis occurs after the other many will long for the years that Tony Blair was in office. No matter what transpires economically or socially there is a grass roots revival that is being birthed in the United Kingdom. What has been spiritually dormant will spring forth with life as the breath of God blows over and through the land warming and melting away cold hearts. Revival will sweep the nation like wild fire changing England forever. Many Christians throughout the world will feel an urgency to assist in this great harvest of souls.

Ireland and Scotland will experience an awakening and God will renew these lands. People who have been bound by anger, addiction, tradition and religion will be freed as God sheds His love in their hearts. Men and women will be called to these countries for a mighty move of God’s Spirit will be released.

I saw a covert operation being discussed by a group of international men and women. Their agenda has yet to be revealed. Stealth and treachery is their game. There will be breaks in long standing covenants and the establishment of new covenants. Old rivals will become allies and old allies will become rivals. Nations who have historically been trustworthy and predictable will no longer have the same moral standard. It’s as if chess pieces have been thrown in the air and you cannot predict on which side of the board they will land.

France and the European nations will face an ever increasing rise in the Islamic population and the result of their influence will greatly redefine the lifestyle of Europe. There will be increased terror attacks as radical Islamist become emboldened to spread their religious ideology. The President of France will deal swiftly and decisively with an issue that will surface mid-year and if not properly managed, will dramatically affect France for years to come.
In the spirit I’ve heard the sounds and seen tank movement for days. There will be a military strike which will surprise the world and the opponents in this conflict will be unusual.

AMERICA
Throughout 2007 and 2008, we experienced abnormal weather and natural disasters. In 2009 the weather will continue to be a major news story. The nations of the world will be affected by these peculiar weather manifestations. Normal weather patterns will continue to change throughout the year and storms will increasingly intensify. The earth will be in constant turmoil and the elements in chaos. Again this year, unusual weather will occur in uncommon geographic locations. I saw the heavens contracting as if in labor and causing a disturbance that is stretching and then shrinking the atmosphere of the earth causing great confusion (disorder) to the weather.

God is transacting with America as our financial system collapses. For we have depended upon mammon and not on Him. Even we, the body of Christ, have sought the world’s provision and forgotten the promises of the Lord. He is bringing low those who are haughty and proud. During these tumultuous times, He is raining on the just as well as the unjust and many will fear the coming days but the Lord will uphold those who lean into Him for direction and provision. The economy will continue to worsen and stocks will once again swing erratically up and down seemingly without a cause. There will be more jobs lost, and people will continue to lose their homes to foreclosure. This is a time to trust God’s ways and not man’s. We must remember that we are in God’s economy not the world’s economy. As a country we must repent and fall upon THE STONE and be broken to pieces lest the stone crush anyone on whom it falls.

Seas will be agitated with the movement of the earth. I see and hear fire, wind and rain. A great disturbance is brewing over the earth. Smoke is billowing from large structures; calamity is occurring throughout the world. We have forsaken God and gone our own way. We must return to Him as a nation.

Much will be revealed surrounding the corruption of government – politicians who we have elected will be accused and found guilty of thievery, bribery, blackmail, adultery and sexual impropriety, violence, illegal activity, tax evasion, and the list goes on. God is continuing to expose and cleanse government and in 2009 we will see an intensification of this process. For the body of Christ has declared that there will be a righteous White House and Congress and the Lord is responding on our behalf.

2009 will be a year that powerful, prominent apostles and prophets through righteous declarations and decrees shift the direction of the White House. Unless God hears our cries and acts on our behalf, we will be in bondage for years. The blood of millions of aborted children is on the hands of the Church and there is great weeping in Heaven over the slaughter of these unborn babies.

Lawlessness is rampant and people no longer know what is right or wrong. They have no set values nor do they desire them. It is obvious that the enemy gained ground through the work of humanism during 2008. But he must be stopped in 2009. So we as the body of Christ must believe and declare that we are righteous and our prayers have power to do warfare against the enemy. Without strategic prayer, criminal activity will increase for the first half of the year but with the concentrated prayers of the saints, unlawful activity will decline the latter part. Let no evil spirit gain ground on America this year.

There will be great upheaval in the White House as a new administration begins its term in office. It will seem as if they are overwhelmed in the coming days as one issue arises after another. The nations of the world will test President Obama and his leadership team creating a distraction from our national challenges.

Without divine intervention we will be in worse shape at the end of 2009 then at the beginning. We must pray that God’s men and women are appointed to high level positions in the government where they can influence the decisions of our new president and his cabinet.

In 2008 the prophets wept and the people rejoiced. In 2009 the prophets will rejoice and the people will weep as the Lord releases His purifying fire upon the earth to burn away those things that have long been dead. This year we will gladly say, “Out with the old and in with the new.”

There will be many celestial signs that will confirm that God is doing something supernatural in the earth.

GLOBAL
The Lord is redeeming the spiritual seeds that He planted long ago in France, Holland, Germany, England, Spain and Italy. Just as Jesus spoke to Lazarus to arise from the dead (John 11:38-44), so is the Lord calling these countries back from spiritual death!
Where deception, religiosity and paganism are fueled by the tolerance of progressive secularism, the Lord is creating a hunger for His ways that will nullify humanism. Where the church has been viewed as irrelevant due to religiosity and in many cases is founded on human agenda, the Lord has heard the cries of His people and is releasing peace, joy and a willingness to hear His voice to these countries. Because of intercession, the fire of His Spirit will burn up everything that is not of Him, purging the atmosphere of deception that exalts man rather than God!
The Lord is opening the way for the “Omega Church,” to arise, for surely it will be strong and mighty and many will dine on the revelation of the Kingdom in 2009. For My end-time church will possess the spirit of Elijah and there will be a confrontation between it and the spirit of Baal this year and My Church will prevail! After this confrontation the Lord will open the hearts of the masses to receive Him in great ways and a host of people will come into the Kingdom as a result!
The Lord will turn up the spiritual pressure that will break open the way for genuine repentance (repentance stops judgment). For great economic and social upheaval will cause these nations to cry out for me! They will beseech Me to restore the old foundations of Kingdom truth.

The Lord will send His apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists into France, Holland, Germany, England, Spain and Italy to proclaim the message of the Gospel.
Even as a river turns over exposing the filth on its bottom, I am revealing sin in these countries to illuminate the depth of impurity that Satan and man have created. From a natural perspective, once the river has turned over, it ultimately returns to its normal state. However, in the case of what I am doing with these river’s (nations), I will surely expose the filth; and these lands (rivers) will not settle back into the norm, for I will purify the flow of these nations as I purge them of wickedness. For even as these lands were at the forefront of promoting sinfulness, opening the way for humanism, idolatry and great transgressions, I will use them to stand against evil and promote the pure river flow of My Holy Kingdom instead!
The Lord is ripping the old wineskin that has created a religious environment over the churches of these nations and He is creating a new wineskin to hold the new wine (anointing)! For a fresh move of His Spirit will happen and a plea for mercy will be heard because of the fear of the Lord’s great presence! This will be a season of abandoning church as usual for a new demonstration of the Lord’s presence will completely revolutionize His church.
Germany will begin to see the sprouting of the seeds that were planted by Martin Luther and other godly men of old. For where the move of God’s Spirit was reduced to only a memory of times past, you will see flames of renewal again and the passion that exists deep in your heart will be released!
Where church leaders have depended upon their religious education, traditions of man and little upon the Holy Spirit, the Lord is shifting its direction to cause His Church to lean heavily upon Him for their daily instructions.

The Lord is orchestrating a powerful move in the country of Spain. He is bringing forth a hunger for His word and a passion to have an intimate relationship with Him. The Spaniards have realized the hopelessness of a nation that has pursued idols and reaped the results of standing empty hearted before God’s Throne. They are now ready to receive the life of the Kingdom and when it arrives they will be like foxes with their tails on fire. The news of what the Lord is doing in their lives will be the impetus to open the way for many awakenings throughout the world.
In Spain the season for self gratification and a belief in progressive secularism is drawing to a close and a desire to sacrifice one’s life for the Lord is arising in this country. For the need to solve problems politically have failed leaving a deep chasm of dissatisfaction. For only the Lord can solve your discontent! The grassroots Church (The Omega Church) through prayer has placed a demand upon the Lord and He is standing up from His throne to deliver His proclamations of change.
The Lord has His hands on the fivefold minister’s who will shine His light into dark situations and from their lips will come the answer for the spiritual problems of Spain. For the Lord has a remnant of people in this country who have not bowed their knees to the religious system and who are passionate for Him and His ways. They will mentor many and build a coalition of spiritual warriors who will take the land by storm. The Lord has anointed several people who He will raise up in 2009 to herald His message to the masses. A move of the Holy Spirit will flood the land and what He does in Spain, will resonate across Europe. For Spain will spearhead the Lord’s move across Europe and other nations will follow!

Prepare for a spiritual earthquake to hit England, Ireland and Scotland. The Lord has listened intently to the prayers of the elect in these countries, and He is answering their request.
The Lord says, “There is a misconception about how My Spirit operates, and I am adjusting this humanistic line of reasoning. For there are many who live their lives upon past spiritual moves and since they haven’t experienced in the presence what God did in years past, they’ve concluded that Christianity is a dead religion! It’s the religious spirit that has caused people to become disgruntled with the Lord. You must know that the ways of man are doctrines of demons! God’s Kingdom has never been established upon man’s plans or agendas, but upon His Holy foundations!

The Lord will raise anointed men and women, in these last days in England, Ireland and Scotland, with a message that will dwarf those of John Wesley and Smith Wigglesworth. He has purposed to bring revival to the shores of these lands and the pillars of the Church as well as business and the political realm, will shake with the reverberation of His awakening power! This renewal will occur throughout the seven spheres; however the marketplace, the political realm as well as the church (religion sphere) will receive the brunt of this powerful move of God!
As the Lord changes the world through distinct awakenings, so shall it be with the move of His Spirit for England, Ireland and Scotland. For deception and the religious system have laid false foundations that He will break up and a powerful foundation of God’s Kingdom shall become a beacon of hope and joy for those who respond to His clarion call!

The Lord will continue to move in goat nations converting them to sheep nations. For Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan and the Philippians shall feel the shaking of God’s Presence and many will come into the Kingdom. For the prayer of those in South Korea are being answered and where Islam has taken advantage of these nations and furthered their poverty, spiritually and physically, the Lord is turning it around. For there will be such a tsunami of the Lord’s presence that people will be compelled to open their hearts to the message of the Gospel of Christ in mass! Malaysia and Indonesia will experience the wealth of God’s presence that has not been experienced since the church was established!

France will continue to struggle with the generational sins of their fore-fathers, but a tipping point and convergence will occur. For the rebellion of the revolutionists who introduced secularism is being addressed and the deep seated discontent with Christianity will be revealed. France, don’t you know that you’re disgruntled with the religious system that man built, for God’s Kingdom is one of righteousness, peace and joy of the Holy Spirit. The religious church was brutal and unbending; the Lord’s Church is kind, loving and compassionate. For the Lord will reveal His Kingdom this year and many will understand it at new dimensions and those who have believed that the church in France is dead will have to look again.
The Lord is establishing the remnant church (the Omega Church) and it will annihilate old mindsets and set the captives free in France. There will be a nationwide spirit of repentance for the sins of this country, and as this occurs the Lord will open the way for widespread conversions into His Kingdom!

A great awakening will occur in Holland and the grey and muted colors that are a result of the German invasion during Hitler’s reign is being removed. For the Lord is bringing the colors of His Spirit to this nation and people will become hungry for His ways and will refute the shame of their fore-fathers, which will prepare the way for life in God’s presence.
The tolerance of prostitution and spiritual liberalism is coming to a close in Holland (particularly Amsterdam) and where the Church has been non-existent, look for a resurgence of people who desire relationship with the Lord and to attend church once again.

Continue to watch Russia for there will be an alliance of nations, (Venezuela, Cuba, Iran and the like), formed to make a stand against America and others who uphold democracy. There will be a rattling of swords as the real reason for discontent will be revealed and their excuse for hatred toward George Bush will succumb to loathing toward the U.S. and her allies. There will be several occurrences where Russia will test the resolve of America’s military strength. For Putin has surely risen as a power that has strengthened the old communist ideology and you will see a renewed roar from this country this year. Also watch and pray as an alliance of Russia and China will begin to happen!

Israel will be in the forefront of issues as she begins to flex her military muscles this year. The war with Hezbollah in 2006 roused this country to realize that if they don’t take a stand against terrorism they will surely face annihilation. Many will be angered at the military might that will be used in 2009 and it will put a strain on America’s relationship with Israel as never before. I heard the Lord say, it will be during this time of uncertainty that America must stand with Israel and not abandon her! Those who defend the apple of God’s eye shall glean the riches of His Kingdom and the favor of the Lord will come upon the land, if not, judgment will be unleashed!

Additional prophecies for the Globe:

1.The Lord is moving in Australia as well as Switzerland, for the winds of a powerful revival will surely sweep the land.
2.Africa will have a spiritual breakthrough and great healings and salvation conversions will occur at unprecedented levels. The Lord is bringing Africa out of corruption and into financial prosperity.

AMERICA
The Lord is testing America because of its tolerance of those things that are contrary to His ways. For even during the presidential election, the Lord heard the denouncing of His ways and an embracing of secularism and humanism and He is not pleased!

The Lord gave us a King, and we will realize, in the coming months and years what that means. There was a meeting that happened behind closed doors that the Lord will publicly reveal, to expose the fullness of what Satan has devised. Unless the church prays there will be a furtherance of humanistic thought and the continued killing of innocent lives and much, much more. The economy and the calamities witnessed through hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, floods, fires and droughts will continue until the evil that has been conceived is revealed and overcome. We will see the economy fluctuate like never before and many will say that we are heading for a crash just as they experienced during the great depression. These are the results of poor choices that we’ve made as a nation and repentance will be vital during this season!

There are three very distinct things that the people of America need to repent for. First, every time we set ourselves against Israel or try to create a situation where we compel her to comply with the demands of Ishmael, the Lord will deal powerfully with us! For don’t you know that all of the brilliant minds of America cannot overturn My decrees or implement what is contrary to My will without a response from Me! Second, there are those who desire to adopt progressive secularism and humanism. As we adopt these corruptive bondages that pull us farther away from the Lord, He will deal severely with us for embracing idolatry! Americans should learn from the spiritual mistakes of Europe and the Asian nations who have held the Kingdom in contempt. For we are repeating their sinful ways and will reap the whirlwind if we don’t repent! For I have called America a sheep nation but through your actions you are invalidating My blessing. Third, the blood of aborted children is crying out for justice and I am answering. Being politically correct doesn’t mean that all people will be happy, who’s more important to please the people or Me? These three transgressions of My Kingdom are being answered with judgment and you will continue to see My hand of correction until America repents and turns from its evil ways!

You will see a change of the righteous guard along with a change of the political guard in America. The Lord will raise voices this year that will shout louder than the evil voices that are currently being heard.

The message of Hollywood will be silenced due to a spiritual renewal that the Lord will bring to these unholy impoverished people. For even as the Lord spoke in years past that He was moving in the midst of the stars, we will begin to see the culmination of what He has decreed. For paganism has gripped the weak hearted because of their search for truth. The Lord will open a path for the stars to know Him, not just a semblance of Him. Where they have looked to man and the religions they have created, now they will look to the Lord and He will reveal the fullness of His Kingdom.

Where Americans hoped that President Obama would save them, they will see just how finite and fragile he is. For the many issues that are before this nation will become suffocating at times and the ability to solve complex problems will result in the president, as well as the people of this nation, crying out for the Lord to answer them! There will be a national week of prayer and repentance and it will be heralded out of the White House rather than My house (the Church)!

OTHER POINTS FOR AMERICA
1.Several corporations will fail because of greed and misconduct.
2.I will continue to judge the Church, for My judgment begins in the House of the Lord. Several ministers will be exposed this year for the sinful activity they failed to preach against, and it will become a snare for them.
3.Great turmoil in the Spirit realm will give way to riots in the street.
4.Greater boldness from humanists will continue and they will press their agenda even more strongly this year.
5.Scandals will continue in the Congress of this country. Moral decay has spoiled those who have been elected to higher levels of governmental authority. The emboldened will seem to be creating new ways to sin.
6.Unemployment, escalating oil prices and greed will continue to shake the economy causing the stock market to fluctuate in extremes. I heard the Lord say, that financial strength is one area that the health of this nation is realized; when you see the economy level out you will know that the Lord has brought balance to the spiritual realm of America!
7.Immigration will become a major problem over the next three years. Legislators will recognize that rather than immigrants desiring to settle in America to experience its freedoms and liberties, there are those who are anarchist (lawless) purposed to tear apart this country. New legislation will be passed to solve this problem.
8.There will be alternative fuels created that will correct our addiction for oil and will augment our spiraling economy.
9. A plan is being concocted to strike America again. The new president will be tested in this area unless we pray!

(August 21- September18, 2009) Month of Elul (For more information see “Victory at the Gates”)

In the Hebrew month of Elul (sixth month) our primary mode of relating to the Lord is as a child to his father. The theme of Elul is returning home (repentance). It’s the time of introspection and inventory, a time to review one’s deeds and spiritual progress over the past year and prepare for the upcoming festivals. They are:

Feast of Trumpets (9/18-20/09 Rosh Hashanah) – A Wake-up call! A time set by God to call you to attention.
The Ten Days of Awe (9/20-28/09 Ten Days of Repentance) – An extended time of seeking the Lord!
The Day of Atonement (9/27-28/09 Yom Kippur) – A time for your fellowship with the Lord to be restored!
The Feast of Tabernacles (10/2-9/09 Feast of Sukkot) – An appointed time to experience God’s presence!

During this month it’s important to rediscover the Lord after a lengthy period in which we may have deserted or ignored Him. In the month of Av, the month that precedes Elul, the deterioration of our relationship with God is so deep that He withdraws to His concealed, inner sanctum, reflecting our withdrawal from Him. However, because of repentance the Lord is likened to a king who goes out into the field, where all of His subjects can meet Him. Our “rediscovery” of God in Elul draws Him from His inner sanctum out to the field. Meeting the Lord in Elul is an “informal” meeting, in which we seek His paternal kinship (intimacy).
In Haggai 1:2-11(Tyndale NLT), in the month of Elul, the Lord gave a message through the prophet Haggai to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: ‘The people are saying, ‘The time has not yet come to rebuild the house of the Lord.’” Then the Lord sent this message through the prophet Haggai: “Why are you living in luxurious houses while my house lies in ruin? This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Look at what’s happening to you! You have planted much but harvest little. You eat but are not satisfied. You drink but are still thirsty. You put on clothes but cannot keep warm. Your wages disappear as though you were putting them in pockets filled with holes! “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Look at what’s happening to you! Now go up into the hills, bring down timber, and rebuild my house. Then I will take pleasure in it and be honored says the Lord. You hoped for rich harvests, but they were poor. And when you brought your harvest home, I blew it away. Why? Because my house lies in ruin, says the Lord of Heavens Armies, while all of you are busy building your own fine homes. It’s because of you that the heavens withhold the dew and the earth produces no crops. I have called for a drought on your fields and hills – a drought to wither the grain and grapes and olive trees and all your other crops, a drought to starve you and your livestock and to ruin everything you have worked so hard to get.” For those who live in drought stricken areas we may want to pay particular attention to this prophetic word. Elul is the time when the Body of Christ needs to repent for sins against the Church for focusing on their needs rather than the Church. We must be careful that we don’t turn our backs on the Church during this season. Case in point, when Israel did not fulfill God’s will, Hebrew tradition says that the cherubim atop the Ark of the Covenant would miraculously turn back-to-back. This back-to-back posture does not necessarily reflect hostility, but on more subtle terms – a lack or break in communication. Sometimes, our friends, family or churches require our attention when we are consumed with ourselves. Our face is turned inward, and we don’t desire to turn our hearts to our loved ones or to the Body of Christ. On the other hand, we don’t wish to insult them, so we lightheartedly answer their appeal for our attention with an offhand, “a little later.” What we are really saying is “I want to remain engrossed in my own world.”
Because Elul is the month of healing our relationship with the Lord and others, let’s be proactive to interact with the Lord and those we love in a new way! Over the next few month’s we must awaken spiritually, spend extended time in prayer and fellowship with Him so that our relationship can be restored. As we pursue Him we will experience the Lord’s presence!

Worldwide Convulsions

The entire world is in the midst of one of the greatest times of change and transition I have ever witnessed in my lifetime. This is both for good and evil. Having prayer-walked over the Reconciliation Bridge from Heil, Germany to Strasbourg, France recently, I marveled at the atmosphere of genuine friendship and change. It was breathtaking for me, having sowed specifically into Germany for so many years. Not long ago, such a friendship between the citizens of France and Germany was only a pipe dream—but now, in part—it is a reality.

But consider on the other hand the worldwide threats to “wipe Israel off the face of the earth to be remembered no more.” (See Praying for Israel’s Destiny for details prophesied from Psalm 83.) War also rages in the mountains of Afghanistan, Pakistan and beyond. Many nations of Africa are in great turmoil, torn between one tribal group and another. There are wars and rumors of war…

With the worldwide recession under way, many people in the U.S. and other nations are losing their jobs; new leaders in power in Israel, the U.S., England and beyond, it does seem that everything around us is teetering! From my angle, we are in the midst of a worldwide convulsion. But we must drop the anchor of hope in such a time. We must be a light which shines brightly in the midst of darkness.

The Process of Transition

Transition means crossing over to a new place from one condition to another. Transition times are times when the Lord redefines and adjusts the rules necessary for us to move forward. He gives us focus and direction. He teaches us about Himself in a new way. We must admit that we have not been where we are headed. We have not crossed this way before!

In a literary sense, a transition is the phrase that connects the past communication or paragraph with the future thought. This is so important to understand as we move forward. We must seek the Lord for His revelation during times of transition. When He communicates to us, we can bridge the past season with the new. This causes a great treasure to arise. Without the communication being distinct during transitions, we lose the strength and wisdom of our past victories.

There is a process which takes place in a time of change. Part of that transition includes:

• A fresh level of revelation is released.
• Your present vision is adjusted.
• New vision is released and established.
• A mantle of restoration is placed upon you.
• You are healed and made whole from the past.
• A new identity is developed within you.
• New strategy is revealed to you.
• You see the fullness of your inheritance before you.
• You have the strength to overthrow your enemies.
• You secure your inheritance.

Keys for Times of Transition

Charles Stock reminded us at a recent Encounters Network Alliance Leaders Summit, that we can “shine” the brightest when it is the darkest. He emphasized four basic keys to help us grow through our seasons of transition:

1. God knows what He is doing!
2. Our scars can be changed into trophies of His grace.
3. Every battle we survive is a graduation to new realms of authority.
4. Grace works through time—and time is on our side!

In my family and ministry’s time of great personal loss and tragedy, there are a few basic things I will never let go of. Yes, God is good all the time, and all things work together for good. Period! Sometimes my lack of understanding screams at me, but in those very moments I must yield my right to understand and push the button called “Trust!”

I have just returned from “Let the Eagles Gather: The International Gathering of Prophets, Apostles and Intercessors” held in Orlando, Florida. During worship in the morning, the Lord began to open a heavenly realm and release the following:

A New Identity and Economic Shift

We must have a new identity as we go into this new season. I see shafts of light coming from a heavenly realm. It is almost like the Lord has paths of light for you to step into. Powerful revelation is being held and stirring above you. Step by faith and watch as your path comes alive and you walk differently. Some of you do not know your next step, and I am here to say that you can walk in your new path and walk in a way that you will be seen differently.

This is a strange time when the enemy is attempting to conform you to the world’s blueprint. The trials and reports of the world will cause you to be captured by unbelief. But you can step into a favor that will cause the world to seek your help.

Watch for an economic shift by the end of this month. Between August 24 and October 17, there will be great changes in the financial system. Be aware that the banking system has not finished making its changes. We will start into an accelerated shift in structure. The government is in an open rearrangement.

Keep the Oil in Your Lamp Ready

The Lord says, “You have brought the enemy into this land and allowed the enemy to amass his troops. You have allowed the enemy to come in and develop a philosophy, a mindset, and an army. Now you must move and gather in new ways.

“For the Protectorate of My covenant in this land is no longer in place. You have got to start gathering in new ways because the Protectorate of My covenant is no longer in place.” (I think this is no longer speaking to this country, but a Kingdom people.)

“I, the Lord, AM going to start amassing and gathering you in a new way, and you must move forward with Me. Do not resist this rearrangement. Now I must draw you up higher, for you are looking with the world’s eye. I have needed to gather you as eagles so you go forth with new strength and vision.

I must draw you high above the rivers because the rivers are now beginning to fill in such a way that unless you draw up higher and move into a new view of the earth, you will find yourself in a boundary you are not to be in.

There is going to be a rain coming in where you are, which will lift you up in the present so you can see the changing boundaries for your future. I am going to draw you up above the Cascading Fall. The washing of the water of the WORD is coming from higher than you know.

You must draw near and come higher because I must align you with My host. I must align you with the army of Heaven. There are hosts in Heaven that I am waiting for you to align with before I send you into boundaries for the future. I have been working and forming you. I have been equipping you to prepare you for your future. Keep the oil in your lamp ready.”

This is a gathering that God is ready to equip you to be the head and not the tail. This will represent God’s Kingdom expression in days ahead. He is doing things deep within you that He is going to have you express. He is shifting His mode of operation and diverse expression of how His manifold wisdom will work in His people.
